Employer Retirement Plans
When it comes to employer sponsored plans we wear several hats.
At the plan level, we help in the fiduciary process by providing the employer with several reports that help determine the health of their plan. Aiming to make sure the funds in the plan are performing as they should, we run quarterly performance monitoring reports.
To make sure your plan fees are within the appropriate range, we run a fee analysis report annually. On occasion, it may be necessary to know what other providers could offer your company and employees. We help in that process by conducting a Request for Proposal (RFP) report.
To keep all of our documentation and reports safe and all in one place, we allow access to your Plan Vault. The Vault is a site that we will house your plan document, Investment Policy Statement, 5500's, Quarterly Investment Reviews, Annual Plan Reviews, employee communications, etc.
At the employee level, we really take on the role of Retirement Coach. Our outcomes-based approach starts with semiannual one on one, on-site meetings. During these meetings we determine the participants' retirement goals. Are they on pace to hit those goals or not? If a participant isn't on pace to hit their goals, then we as coaches step in to see how we can get them back on path.
We often find that the progess a participant has made so far on their path to retirement will help determine how their portfolio should be allocated. For example, if a participant is way ahead of hitting their goals, maybe they should be taking less risk in their portfolio. We also provide participants with a progress report and a micro site that allows them access to planning calculators, articles and videos.
